As our BRAND NEW Design Team member, we felt it would be great to get to know her. So let's delve in to 20 questions with Sharon...
What’s your favourite craft?
Paper crafting - scrapbooking, junk and art journaling and card making.
What’s your favourite project you’ve completed?
I really like this Halloween project, I think it’s this year's favourite.

What craft have you tried and decided isn’t for you?
Tea bag folding, I can’t stand it.
What’s your favourite top tip?
Buy the best quality you can afford.
If you could only craft with 3 colours for the rest of your life… what would they be? Gold, silver, white
What’s the worst crafting mishap you’ve had?
Putting my paint brush in my tea and not noticing till I painted on my work, however, like a true crafter I just turned what I was doing vintage. I did forget and took a swig lol
How do you combat crafty brain fog?
If I’m stuck on what I want to do I will put it aside and do a bit colouring in my favourite colouring book.
What colour do you tend to avoid while crafting?
I’m not sure I do avoid a colour, I tend to embrace all colours.
How would you describe your crafting style?
That’s a hard question, I change depending on what I’m doing, I’d say I’m a pretty clean card maker and I like my cards to look elegant, I love adding flowers to my cards and ribbons. If I’m doing mixed media projects then I think I’m free, I love using gesso and pastes to add depth to my projects.
Go to card blank size?
6x6 and 8x8 are my favourites as I find you have more space to play.
Wet glue or double sided tape?
I use both depending on what I’m doing.
Gold or silver?
Gold for warm colours and silver for cold, I equally love both.
Favourite occasion/season to craft for?
I love Christmas crafting
Favourite Die?
Oh another hard one - not sure about this one but I am a tag girl, I absolutely love tag dies
Favourite Product?
Goodness lol, over the years that has changed so many times, however, I think I need to say my Kit n Caboodle Pro Cut, I have had many machines but I absolutely love my Pro Cut, the sandwich is lightweight and it cuts every time.
Where do you find inspiration?
All around me, walking in nature, reading magazines, watching lives, Pinterest
What’s your favourite crafty storage hack?
I have used a curtain pole to put my ribbon on. I use a ruler in my craft bag and have my foam tape, double side tape and low tac tape on it lol. Fine till you need a ruler(wink wink).
A piece of helpful advice you would give a new crafter?
Take your time to think about what it is you want to achieve and buy the best you can afford.
What’s your favourite craft tool/gadget ?
My Cropadile, I love it and use it often.
What’s next on your crafty wish list?
A bigger craft room haha but I think I’d fill a football stadium there is always something new I need lol. We can't wait to introduce you to more creations by Sharon on the blog in the coming weeks, so please do keep an eye out for future posts. We hope you enjoyed delving in to a fellow crafters mind.
