I am so delighted to share with you a little insight in to Wendy's world, what inspires her.. what she tries to tackle in the crafty world.. and wish she hadn't lol, and many more questions... As our BRAND NEW Design Team member, we felt it would be a great FIRST Blog post to get to know her. So lets delve in to 20 questions with Wendy...
What’s your Favourite Craft?
Scrapbooking, card making and construction, just about all of it lol

What’s your most recent project you’ve completed?
The most recent one would be a Christmas card with a tag as a gift .
What craft have you tried and decided isn’t for you?
Don't think I have, most that I try, I do every now and again except for cards and scrapbooking and I do that all the time.
What’s your favourite top tip?
Use wet glue, you have time to move things around, lol
If you could only craft with 3 colours for the rest of your life… what would they be?
Red, gold and probably a green.
What’s the worst crafting mishap you’ve had?
The normal making a card and having it open the wrong way or upside down!
How do you combat crafty brain fog?
I would look at other people's creations. Normally, see something and think 'oh if I did this or that, it would look good'. Hey presto an idea.....or I just wake up in the night with an idea, lol
What colour do you tend to avoid while crafting?
Well anybody that knows me know, knows I'm going to say purple, but I have been using it a bit more recently.
How would you describe your crafting style?
Not cluttered.
Go to card blank size?
8"x8" - I like bigger cards, I think that's because I do scrapbooking on 12" x 12"
Wet glue or double sided tape?
99.9% of the time wet glue, but do use tape.
Gold or silver?
Both
Favourite occasion/season to craft for?
Birthdays and Christmas.
Favourite Die?
Flowers and foliage dies, maybe because I did flower arranging for a good few years
Favourite Product?
I guess the most used would be ink pads, but I like them all but not in one go lol
What’s your favourite crafty storage hack?
Magnetic sheets stuck to mount board to store my dies.
A piece of helpful advice you would give a new crafter?
Try something different, you might like it, if not it's only card, start again.
What’s your favourite craft tool/gadget?
Well again, if you ask anybody that knows me they would say a ruler lol, I do like things to be as straight as possible.
What’s next on your crafty wish list?
I would like to get to grips with mix media, I'm not very good with it. We can't wait to introduce you to more creations By Wendy on the blog in the coming weeks, so please do keep an eye out for future posts. We hope you enjoyed delving in to a fellow crafters mind. Thank you Wendy for taking the time to sit down with us and answer these questions, and welcome to the Team! - Jamie x
